I’m Amanda, I have  been working in tech industry in the bay area since 2000. I love to work on  cool products and build large-scale distributed systems with teams.

I am currently working in Ripple as principal software engineer. At Ripple we are building new payment solution software using blockchain technology and crypto currency.

Before Ripple, I was the chief architect of Huawei Pay at Huawei device. Before Huawei I worked in principal, architecture and leader roles at Apple, PayPal, HP/snapfish, etc.

While working at these companies, I have been fortunate to build world-class products of mobile payments, mobile advertising, e-Commerce, mobile imaging applications using cloud/big data/AI/ML/microservices technologies. I was the senior member of leadership committee of “Women@Apple” at Apple and “eBay Women in technologies” at PayPal. Having being the only female engineer in many of my past teams, diversity and Inclusion has always been dear to my heart. I have also been a huge advocate for being a change agent on D&I and getting more and more women technologists ahead to crack the glass ceilings.

I am a passionate ballet dancer. In my spare time, I love traveling, music, movies and reading. I’m a big tennis fan.
