Legacy paper systems have trapped millions of data points in outdated systems. Unlocking those data points can have a significant value for the data science team and the business to leverage unique sources of data, which can in turn result in better machine learning models. Obstacles including the condition and storage methods can hinder data extraction, and recent advances in computer vision allow us to develop more accurate systems.

In this session, ZZ Si, Principal Machine Learning Engineer at KUNGFU.AI, an AI services consultancy, will discuss the potential of paper to digital, common challenges with it and how to overcome them, and the potential for unlocking those trapped data points.
